Essence of the development
The holographic lidar is developed by the complex device that allows simultaneously to investigate both gas, and aerosol structure of the atmosphere. The application of the method of spontaneous combination scattering in lidar makes it possible to obtain almost instantaneous values of atmospheric gas concentrations with high spatial resolution. It provides the definition with high accuracy and efficiency of gas pollution sources in environmentally unfavorable industrial difficult conditions zones. The study of the aerosol component is conducted according to the original methodology using remote logging polarization holograms slices of the atmosphere. This makes it possible to obtain information on aerosol concentrations by directly studying aerosol particle images, which, unlike other techniques, does not require a priori assumptions about the type of aerosol under study and therefore makes it possible to avoid associated errors. Thus, the complex gas - aerosol polarization holographic lidar today is the most promising tool for full remote monitoring of the air environment and can be successfully used for environmental purposes
