Gist of development
The gist of the development is the use of new approaches to the quantitative evaluation of the ligand forms of hemoglobin and the creation of new information technologies based on it. Also a new spectral means for quantitative assessment of the content of ligand forms of hemoglobin in the blood. A method for determining the content of nitrosyl hemoglobin along with five other ligand forms (RHb, HbO2, HbCO, SHb, MetHb) in one peripheral blood sample will allow the diagnosis of various critical states (CO poisoning, nitrates and nitrites, other exogenous compounds).

The state of development
On the basis of a statistical set of data on absorption spectrum of deoxygemoglobin and its complete transition to nitrosyl form. A combined absorption spectrum for nitrosylhemoglobin was obtained in the range of wavelengths of 450 - 750 nm. Millimolar coefficients of nitrosylhemoglobin extinction in the specified wavelength range are calculated. The results of these studies may be a prerequisite for the construction of an automatic device for the simultaneous determination of 6 ligand forms of hemoglobin in a single blood sample.
