Purpose and areas of usage
The technology is intended for the manufacture of rod screw threaded products made of low - carbon or low - alloy steel, which can be used in the form of bolts, screws and studs with a strength limit of more than 800 MPa in threaded joints in machine, automobile and other industries.
Gist of development
The technology includes a triad of influences of one direction, which are summarized:
1 - thermal strengthening of raw materials (rodings);
2 - strengthening of the product by cold deformation in manufacturing;
3 - strengthening the finished product through the tempering.
It allows to receive products with high consumer properties (high strength class) and solidity (high level of plastic properties) at lower cost of production due to the use of ordinary steel grades and reduction of the cost of heat treatment (excluded operations of annealing of billets and heating of bells under quenching)
Main advantages of development
The technology makes it possible to guarantee the manufacture of rod screw threaded products of the strength class of 8. 8 and 9. 8 according to the world requirements (ISO 898 - 1: 2013) and ensures lower energy consumption and production cost (by 20% ) by eliminating the annealing of raw materials and tempering of finished products, which positively affects on the competitiveness of products on the world market.
The need for fastening products of strength class 8. 8 and 9. 8 is calculated hundreds of thousands of tons.
