Nanodisperses powder materials for elements of solid-oxide fuel cells PP120
The developed methods of synthesis and composition of nanodispersed oxide powder materials are intended for manufacturing of such basic elements of solid - oxide fuel cells as solid electrolyte, anode, cathode.
Gist of development
The gist of the development is the application for the manufacture of nanosized powders of oxides of aqueous solutions of zirconium salts or others. It sets the conditions for the formation of polymer particles in the size of 10 - 50 nm, which, due to controlled specific physico - chemical and technological actions, maintain their size throughout the path of transformation of the solution - Sol - gel - xerogel - oxide. The finite particles of zirconium dioxide are 50 - 100 nm in size. The cost of manufacturing 1 kg of nanodispersed stabilized zirconium dioxide in conditions of Ukraine's production will cost 25 - 30 dollars/ kg, while the world price of such material (for example, the firm "TOSON", Japan) reaches 70 - 80 dollars/kg.
The development is based on the use of the raw material base of Ukraine. It is economically attractive and promising for advancement in markets of Europe as promising materials and technologies for developers and manufacturers of solid - oxide fuel cells power generators. The developed materials and their compositions can be used as effective catalyzer for the conversion of hydrocarbons to synthesize gas and hydrogen.
