For example the creation of amorphous metal alloys with increased catalytic activity for the processes of oxidation of harmful industrial emissions and catalytic hydrogen release. Also creation of magnetic sensors and magnetic carriers of medicinal preparations, manufacturing of new products for the needs of the economy domestic agricultural sector . In particular the formation of protective corrosion and wear - resistant covering on the tools of soil - working machinery.
Main benefits of development
Samples modification of tape and amorphous alloys increased their micro - hardness in comparison with crystalline iron in 10 - 15 times. Electrical resistance – in twice. Corrosion resistance in aggressive environments - in 3 - 5 times. Application of modified electrodes from such materials increased the efficiency of hydrogen release 2 - 3 times.
The essence of the development
Electrochemically formed protective oxide - hydroxidal layers on the surfaces of tape and bulk amorphous alloys increase corrosion resistance in aggressive media of different electrolytic composition, and the electrodes themselves exhibit high electrocatalytic ability in the reactions of hydrogen release from alkaline solutions.
