Purpose and areas of usage
The developed technology is intended for the production of complex flux as a substitute for the fluxing part of the agglomeration charge. The usage of this technology is possible at agglomerating factories or mining and metallurgical complexes, which contains in its structure a compartment of metallurgical raw material scraping.
Gist of development
In the developed technology of obtaining complex flux processes of production of lime and ferrite compounds are combined, during sintering on a conveyor machine combined pellets. Combined granules are obtained by pouring iron - ore material on a pre - wetted surface of limestone bits. As charge materials for the production of complex flux, limestone with a thickness of 3 - 10 mm is used, iron - ore magnetite concentrate and solid fuel (coke fines) with a grain size of 0 - 5 mm
Main advantages of development
Implementation of production technology is possible in the conditions of existing technological schemes of agglomeration plants without the need to install additional equipment. It also allows to receive complex flux of the given composition and properties. Replacing traditional fluxes with such complex flux enables to increase the productivity of the sinter plant by 16. 02% , increase the agglomerate strength, and reduce the content of fine fraction by 8. 37% and the consumption of solid fuels by 1. 5 - 2%
