Purpose and areas of usage
The method is intended for obtaining qualitative serum, plasma and whole blood for biochemical and morphological research. Potential users of the methods of viable blood poultry selection are the departments of research institutes and industrial enterprises, central, regional and district laboratories of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
Gist of development
The most important feature of the development is that one - time puncture of the vein under wing is used. It allows to receive from 6, 0 to 12, 0 cm3 of blood. Thus, only one internal injection of a needle is performed. This makes it possible to use the material received for the early diagnosis of non - infectious and infectious diseases of poultry. It also makes possible to control the effectiveness of veterinary health and preventive measures, in contrast to the existing methods of blood sampling in poultry. In Ukraine, such a technique has been developed for the first time.
Main advantages of development
The method of viable selection of blood practically implements the receipt of high - quality investigated material (serum and plasma of blood) for research. It makes it possible to develop standards for the content of indicators of metabolism, physiological status and productivity of poultry.
The developed method can be used in research institutes and veterinary services of aviculture enterprises regardless of the form of ownership.
